Social Listening Apple

 When you think of the smart phone, the first company that likely comes to mind is Apple. People have always appreciated Apple for its what it makes (iPhones, iPads, ect.) but also the driving force behind what they do (innovation, pushing boundaries). My family has used Apple products for a while, so I decided to see the opinions of the general public matched my own.  Apple's value proposition seems to center around making a unique experience for their consumer. They do not want to be just another smartphone company that offers some cool features. They want to make something with a unique and different design that is always pushing the limits of current technology.  I decided to check out Instagram to see what Apple is promoting.       Football is something that I have always enjoyed watching. (and playing to a lesser extent) College Football was where I started out, but recently I have started watching more NFL football. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest advertising events of the year, so when I saw a unique way of branding at the Super Bowl, it caught my attention.      To summarize, Tostitos is bringing its "Tost by Tostitos " pop-up restaurant to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl on February 11. People can enter to win a package that includes travel, Super Bowl tickets, and tableside service at the Tost by Tostitos by Kirk Cousins. Cousins is the quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings. To enter, people simply have to follow some social media instructions that will increase the visibility of both Tostitos and Cousins.  Introductory Post      Hi everyone! My name is Trevin Smucker. I am from a small town in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently duo enrolled in Linn-Benton Community College and Oregon State University. I am planning on getting my Bachelor's degree in Accounting. I have not had much experience with marketing, but I am interested in learning about different marketing techniques and how to build a brand. I am hoping to help run our family business after I graduate. I am currently working there part-time which is giving me some good experience. I am hoping this class will give me some good ideas that I can use to help improve the business.      Outside of school I enjoy most sports, particularly basketball and football My favorite sport to play is basketball. I played it every year from 1st-12th grade. My favorite NBA team is the Portland Trailblazers, so it has been a rough last few years.
